Dr Ammar is a dedicated General Practice doctor with a special interest in chronic disease management, geriatrics, sports medicine, wound care, and preventative health. He graduated from Baghdad University College of Medicine in Iraq and completed his internship and residency across a range of clinical settings, including rural healthcare environments. After relocating to Australia in 2015, Dr Ammar gained extensive hospital experience working in emergency departments, as well as intensive care, respiratory medicine, surgery, and paediatrics.
As a General Practitioner, Dr Ammar is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals and families at all stages of life. He values continuity of care and works closely with patients to support long-term health outcomes through preventative health strategies, chronic disease management, health assessments, and immunisations.
