Dr Anamika Chowdhury (FRACGP) is a dedicated, kind, and compassionate General Practitioner who has been practising medicine in Australia for over seven years. She attained Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2025.
Prior to becoming a GP, Dr Chowdhury worked as a medical officer across a range of hospital departments in New South Wales, including John Hunter Hospital, Blacktown–Mt Druitt Hospital, and Nepean Hospital. She also spent two years in Cowra as a rural GP registrar, where she gained valuable clinical experience in a regional setting.
Dr Chowdhury graduated from Bangladesh in 2015 and moved to Australia after completing her internship. She successfully completed the Australian Medical Council examinations before commencing medical practice in Australia and has since completed her FRACGP and a Certificate in Women’s Health while practising locally.
Dr Chowdhury enjoys all aspects of general practice, with a particular interest in women’s health and paediatrics. She is committed to providing patient-centred, evidence-based care and supporting individuals and families at every stage of life.
Outside of work, Dr Chowdhury enjoys reading, travelling, hiking, and spending time with her family.
